I was so excited to do JD and Morgan’s engagement session. I always ask my couples what they like to do for fun so I can create a really special portrait session for them. JD and Morgan love coming down to the Pier at Myrtle Beach State Park to fish so we incorporated that location into their session. It was so much fun to see all of their fishing pals congratulating them while I was taking their pictures. I think JD was just happy that we started the session at 7am before the beach and pier was too packed with people. We ended up having a great time and I was really happy with the images I captured. I’m really looking forward to their wedding this fall. Thanks guys for being so awesome!!

We had a really fun Love Story Session yesterday with Cindi and Bill at Timrod Park in Florence. We love this park because there are so many different areas to shoot in. The rain held off for us and we got some great shots. They got to be movie stars for the evening with 3 photographers shooting away. We are really looking forward to shooting the wedding on June 20th. They are going to look fabulous!!

Even though I ended up having to do Andrea and Bobby’s session at dusk when the lighting is not optimal, their images turned out great. We did a short mini-session on New Year’s Eve because Bobby is getting ready to head off to boot camp for 4 months and they wanted some photos of the two of them together before he left. Hopefully, I’ll get the chance to spend some more time with these two when we better lighting…and when it’s not so cold.
