Now that Somer and Frankie have said their “I do’s” this past weekend, I can finally share some of Somer’s Bridal Portraits. I can’t wait to post some from their wedding. It was fantastic! When Somer and I were first talking about where she wanted to take her Bridal Portraits, the word we were throwing around alot was “Grand.” She wanted a dramatic but classy venue that would fit the style of her wedding. The Country Club of South Carolina was the perfect choice. When Somer walked into the club house, my mouth dropped. Her dress was gorgeous and she was even more beautiful. Somer admitted that her dress was not exactly what she was looking for when she first set out on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress. She wanted something very simple and white. What she walked in with was a gorgeous ivory lace gown. I almost didn’t want to touch it because the detail in the dress was so delicate. She was the opitomy of the glowing bride. I still get excited when I look through the images we took that day. When you combine a stunning bride with a gorgeous location, you really can’t go wrong. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

This is the image that Somer chose for her wall portrait to be displayed at the reception. Classic and classy.

This image was my favorite. It makes you want to know what the bride is feeling and thinking and it also shows the detail of Somer's very beautiful veil that was worn by her mother on her wedding day.

New Product: Float Wraps!

March 26, 2010

I’m so excited about this new product. I couldn’t wait to share it with everyone. We take a lot of pride in the amazing products we offer at Infinity Images. We work the best labs in the US to bring the highest quality items at the best possible prices. Now on to the Float Wrap! A Float Wrap is a new, unique option to display images. Float Wraps are similar to Gallery Wraps or Standout mounted prints in that they add dimension by extending out from the wall. Float wraps are unique in that they appear to be floating on the wall with the main focus on the image! Create a modern display with a Float Wrap wall collage that is ready to hang once removed from the box! No need for expensive frames and mats.

Float Wraps are created by wrapping the photographic print or canvas print around masonite to create a thin wrap. The print or canvas is protected with a laminate and padding is added between the print and the masonite to give the front of the Float Wrap a raised, elegant look and feel. The back of the Float Wrap is complete with a black paper backing and a black ¾” thick gatorboard block that allows the Float Wrap to extend out from the wall. The back of the block also contains drilled holes for hanging. Or, if you’d prefer to display your Float Wrap on an easel, you can order your wrap without the gatorboard block.

Order Fine Art Canvas with a Semi-Gloss Laminate or Metallic Canvas with a High Gloss Laminate. Lustre and Metallic Photographic prints are finished with a Matte Laminate. Float Wraps are available in many popular sizes from 8×10 up to 20×30.

The {B} Family

March 23, 2010

When I got an email from Mrs. B requesting a Family Portrait Session, I was totally thrilled. You see, I had the honor of photographing Mr. & Mrs. B’s wedding almost 3 years ago. They lived in the midwest so I thought after their wedding I would never have the opportunity to work with them again. I was pretty bummed about it because they are such an incredible couple and so laid back. But when I got that email I got so excited. They were coming to SC to visit family and wanted ME to take their first family portrait. They had an adorable baby girl last year and hadn’t had any professional portraits taken of her yet. So I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to not only work with them again but to have the honor of taking their first portraits. We had so much fun with this session. Miss E loved the camera and really showed her personality off. We did some outside shots at Lawton Park in Hartsville, SC and then scooted over to the family’s farm where we did some inside portraits along with some great images outside. I was so pleased with the way everything turned out. Thanks so much guys for giving me the opportunity. Now I know that even when I think working with my past clients is never going to happen, nothing is impossible!

I feel so bad because I have really been neglecting the blog lately. I promise to keep up with posting sneak peeks more regularly along with other fun stuff. I wanted to share a few images from my latest session with Little Miss C. She was so incredibly adorable that I couldn’t stop clicking away. I had so many images that it took me forever to go through and pick the best ones. She really loved being in front of the camera and who can blame her! Between the tutus, swimsuit and Easter dresses, I can’t decide what she looked the best in. She was gorgeous in everything she put on. Let me know what you think!
