{The A Family}

July 30, 2009

I was so excited when Mrs. A let me know she wanted to do their first Family Portrait Session at Cheraw State Park. I hadn’t seen them since I did her Maternity Session last fall so I really couldn’t wait to see Baby E. I knew she would be as cute as a button having the adorable parents she has!! I was not disappointed!! She has the most amazing blue eyes ever and the camera loved her. You could definitely tell her parents love her to pieces…who wouldn’t?!? We had so much fun getting her to show off for me. I really wish I hadn’t been sick so I could have got me some hugs. Well, we are going to do another session at the beach this fall so I’m holding out until then:) Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

I have been so excited about this Engagement Session with Ben & Janet at Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach. I never thought the day would get here. Janet is such a great person and so full of life. I knew the session would be a blast!! They couldn’t have picked a more perfect location…even if it was 100 Degrees!!! Here are a few of my favorites from the Session.

Summer Fun at the Beach

July 15, 2009

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. I really did not want to get back to reality after the great weekend we had at the beach. I decided before we left that I was going to concentrate on having a great time with Daniel and the kids (well, one kid…Gage decided he would rather work at the farm than come with us to the beach) and not stress about anything. And my plan really did work. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves just kicking back and relaxing. I brought my camera but declared that I wasn’t going to try to get all arty on my family like I usually do and just take the normal snapshots that grace every family’s photo albums. Here are just a few…

Myrtle Beach Bound!

July 10, 2009

Things around here have been so incredibly crazy that I haven’t had a chance to sit back and post about nothing. And I’m not complaining!! It has been completely wonderful!! So, we have decided to just take off for the weekend and relax a little and Myrtle Beach seemed like the perfect place to do it. Wiggling my toes in the sand is one of my favorite things…watching my beautiful kids build sand castles….watching the sun rise over the water. Boy, it doesn’t get any better than that! I’ll be sure to share some images of our mini-vacation next week. Hope everyone has a wonderful (and safe) weekend!

We will be out photographing the Keep It Moving Breast Friends Foundation Black & White Cancer Benefit Dinner. A portion of all print sales from the event will go to help Save the Ta-Tas! We will have a photo booth set up to capture formal as well as some really fun shots. So come out and join the fun! Call J. Kasey Carraway at 757-352-7561 or K. Carraway-Patterson at 757-232-4999 for further information. Hope to see you there!
