Drum roll please……Scarlett Olivia Amerson of Wallace, SC is the winner of our Cutest Kid Contest. I think picking the cutest kid out of all of the entries was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. All of the children were adorable and I would love to have the opportunity to photograph all of them. Thanks so much to everyone that took the time to send us their photographs. We had a blast looking through them all.

Ok, at least I’m on time this week, so that’s a good thing. I’ve got so much to be thankful for but here are just a few:

1) Only 1 more day of work and then we are off for 9 whole days!! We are so excited to go back to DC. This year we might even spend a day in Colonial Williamsburg, VA.

2) Daniel’s JV Baseball team won their first game of the season last night in extra innings 12-9. It was the most exciting baseball game I’ve ever seen (granted I haven’t seen that many..he he) and Gage even scored a run!! I was so proud of the boys. They played their hearts out and beat a great team.

3) My son is becoming a man. I knew this day would come eventually but, like most parents, I always saw my son as my baby boy. And I still do to a certain point. But in the past few months, I’ve seen him mature into a young man and that makes me so proud.
