3 Things to be Thankful For Thursday (on Friday)
March 27, 2009This has been one crazy week!! Between 2 baseball teams and a softball team to keep up with plus the neverending list of things to do at Infinity Images, I have been running around all week like a whirlwind. But this weekend will be a little slower paced because of the rain, so I can take the time to get some much needed work around the house done. Things I’m thankful for:
1) Photographer friends: having a passion for something is no fun if you can’t share it with someone. As much as I love Daniel, he gets kind of hazy-eyed when I start talking about anything photography related (kind of like I get when he talks about golf or any sport for that matter).
2) Rain…sometimes there is just too much going on and a little rain makes you slow down and enjoy the little things like watching a movie or reading a book.
3) Sweetgrass Blackberry wine from Market Street Winery in Charleston,
SC. Daniel and I happened upon this great winery on a trip to Charleston and found this incredible wine. We liked it so much, we bought some for his brother and sister-in-law and some for ourselves.

New Portrait Packaging
March 24, 2009I’ve been so excited about our new print packaging that I couldn’t wait to show you how it turned out. Again, Danyelle at Dandee Designs did a fantastic job putting our vision together for us. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Let us know what you think!!
3 Things to be Thankful for Thursday
March 19, 20091) We only have 2 1/2 weeks until we leave for our vacation!!
2) We are having a HUGE yard sale this Saturday so my house will be relieved of all of the clutter that has accumulated over the past year.
3) I will finally get the chance to hang out with my good friend Libby this weekend.
Happy Birthday Lindsay!!
March 17, 2009Every year, my kids get to pick where they want to have their birthday party. And every year is different. We always try something new and fun, so this year Lindsay chose Young Chef’s Academy. She and her friends got to make a pizza from scratch which was so much fun to watch. Here are a few images from her party.
Attending a wedding..as a guest!!
March 16, 2009So, most of the time I attend a wedding, it’s as the photographer. This is great because I so thoroughly enjoy capturing all of the images of such a wonderful day. But every once in a while, I get to attend a wedding as a guest. It’s very different and very hard to turn off the photographer switch. I want to run around and catch all of the important shots. So when we attended Daniel’s nephew’s wedding Saturday, I didn’t even take my camera into the ceremony. I knew it would be too big a temptation so I left it in the car. It was actually really nice to just enjoy the moment and watch everything happening. I was kind of bummed because Daniel was actually in the wedding and I didn’t get to take any pictures of him but I’m sure the photographer will have some available:) Here are a few shots that I took at the reception (because you know there’s no way I couldn’t take the camera there).

Our Family

My two most favorite guys...Daniel and Gage.

Lindsay being silly.

Courtney finally talked Gage into dancing.

Tots2Teens with Sam Puc
March 10, 2009
Saturday, we were in Columbia for the Tots 2 Teens tour with Sandy (Sam) Puc’ – it was an incredible learning experience! I spent seven hours in a room with hundreds of professional photographers and one of the best baby & child photographer’s of our time sharing her secrets to a great toddler, kid and teen plan…it was wonderful!

For those of you who get the chance to see Sandy Puc’… her show is worth the ticket price and more, she offers great ideas, shares her trials and “what not to do” stories and walks the audience through a successful child plan. I can’t wait until she comes around next year with her Family Workshop.
