Gary and Melissa chose the beautiful Cheraw State Park as the location for their wedding. With the changing colors of fall and the gorgeous lake as the backdrop, I think they chose the perfect spot. I learned from this couple that even when your family are far away, you can always count on wonderful friends. With the rain moving out just in time for everything to come together, it turned out to be a beautiful fall wedding.

I met Ryan and Megan almost a year ago while they where here from Pittsburgh trying to plan their wedding. Right from the beginning, they were such a kick to be around. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much at a wedding as I did at Ryan and Megan’s (thanks in part to the maid of honor, Amy). They have a wonderful family and they made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. They chose a beautiful chapel in Pawleys Island for their ceremony and Litchfield Country Club for the reception. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

How beautiful is this little girl? I can’t get over how gorgeous she is. Brianna was definitely having a hard time with having her picture taken in front of a bunch of strangers passing by. But after the first few frames, she took us all by surprise and forgot about everyone around her. She let loose her inner model and the portraits show it. If you haven’t figured it out by now, this is why I love photography.

Destiny is such a beautiful little girl. She walked around with me and was game for whatever we asked her to do. The contrast between Destiny and her surroundings made the portraits amazing. She was such a little lady in her pearls and handbag and I think the portraits captured that.

As you guys probably already know, we’ve started a new concept called Urban Alley. Here is one session with Brandon and Bradley. I’ve known these kids for a long time so we had a great time shooting them in these locations. I loved the portraits so much that I’m beginning to think that this concept is my favorite

Wow…that’s the word that comes to mind when I started going through Denise’s portraits. She is such a beautiful woman and to add that pregnancy glow just topped it off. Denise and Chap are such a wonderful couple. They are going to be even better parents. Some things you just know. I’m so looking forward to doing little Emma’s first portraits. And wait until you see her nursery!!!

I had the pleasure of shooting Amy and Will’s beautiful wedding. Amy was an incredible bride and Will was a great sport about all of the pictures we took. They chose a beautiful church in downtown Cheraw. It made the perfect backdrop for their perfect wedding.
